Memorial Day Weekend

Though we didn't go anywhere for Memorial Day and it rained as usual for a good portion of the weekend, we still enjoyed it. Kaitlyn and her Mama gave Gus a much needed bath, we cooked out a couple of times, and Amanda took Evan to Laura and Owen's to visit because Ginny and Jerry were in town.

We had all intentions of going swimming Monday afternoon and even got dressed in our swimsuits, but it didn't come together. We settled for playing in the sprinkler. Kaitlyn was timid at first, but she finally decided running through the sprinkler was a fun thing. She did stop at one point and ask me to "turn the warm on." Evan didn't care too much for us running though the sprinkler, but I think he would have enjoyed it more had I been able to turn the warm on as well.
