Dada

Well, it's official. Evan said Dada yesterday, a day before he turned nine months. I also had a witness. On the way home from daycare, he was talking his normal language (yayaya). I asked Kaitlyn if he said Dada because I had been working with him on it. She informed me that no, he said yaya. As if on cue, Evan promptly responded with a Dada, and I think Kaitlyn got about as excited as I did. He later demonstrated his new vocabulary for his mom that evening. She was mostly happy about it, but I think I noticed a tinge of jealousy too. I will try to get a video clip and add it so you can judge for yourself... the Dada, not the jealously.

In other news, Kaitlyn attended three parties this past Saturday morning. The first was a late birthday party for her classmate, Sharp, and that was immediately followed by one for the Carmean girls. She wrapped up the morning at a baby shower for her godmother. I couldn't go because I had to drive to Memphis to pick up our computer that had been repaired. This would be where I added all the photos from the events, but Amanda didn't take any. I know what you are thinking, but she isn't really a terrible mom. She did also have Evan for the first two parties.
